DevOps / Platform Engineer
I build reliable pipelines, resilient infrastructure,
and the tooling that keeps teams shipping.
Live Kubernetes cluster monitor for my Raspberry Pi homelab. Rust/Axum backend reads the K8s API directly, no kubectl wrapper or intermediary. Qwik + TypeScript frontend polls nodes, workloads, and events in real time. Deployed with RBAC, Sealed Secrets, and Helm on a K3s cluster I run and maintain.
Embedded in an agile CI team whose pipelines serve 500+ engineers across Volvo Cars, covering embedded software development, HIL systems, and real-time simulation environments. Maintained and evolved pipelines on Jenkins, Zuul, and Azure, with K8s and VMs provisioned via Terraform and Ansible. Drove a 600% reduction in pipeline execution time through multithreaded implementation across ~5 daily runs on normal load. Alongside CI work, built and maintained internal release management tooling: TypeScript/React frontend with lazy-loading, backed by a Python/PostgreSQL API with Alembic migrations. First-line responder on a rotating ops schedule for pipeline failures.
Engaged as an external consultant to Volvo Cars, contributing to CI pipeline development for the same embedded software teams. The work led to a full-time offer the following year.
Designed and delivered a full-stack procurement intake platform where clients submitted furniture with condition photos for Soeco to evaluate and decide whether to purchase. Implemented OAuth2 for role-based access across admin and client users. End-to-end ownership: frontend, backend API, database, deployed and maintained.
Led board meetings for the IT Section and collaborated with the IT faculty to coordinate initiatives and advocate for student interests.
Been running dedicated servers since before it was a career path - CS 1.6 through CS:GO, WoW private servers, port forwarding, SQL database administration.
Switched to Linux full-time in 2018 and haven't looked back. Currently running a Raspberry Pi cluster with K3s and Rancher, deploying self-hosted services via Helm - Authentik, Actual Budget, Outline, and more. Built a live cluster dashboard ↗ to monitor it all.
Joint GU/Chalmers program. Covered software architecture, agile, project management, and programming. Lots of group projects with real deadlines.
Two years into the five-year civilingenjör program at Chalmers before switching to software. The math still shows up.
Went back to finish high school as an adult to get into university.
